Green Button is a standardized data format that gives residential and business energy customers an option to easily access and securely transfer their energy usage data to service providers for insight generation.

Green Button can help you:

• Choose which electricity price plan works best for your home or business
• Track and analyze your energy use so that you can conserve or shift your usage
• Make decisions about energy efficiency upgrades

All Ontario utilities delivering Electricity and Natural Gas must be Green Button Compliant by November 2023.

Log in to your utility by clicking through to it on the list below. If you are not registered for online access, follow the process outlined by your utility. Once you are logged in, find EcoButton on the Green Button Marketplace and approve data access.
